Other times the toilet's fine and the real blockage is further down the sewer, sometimes from tree roots that have found their way into the drain.

For a simple blockage we clear it on the spot; for anything deeper we bring the jetter through, and if it looks like a sewer problem we put a camera down to find the real cause. If we can’t clear your blockage, you don’t pay. The guarantee applies where there’s sufficient drain access to reach the blockage. If adequate access isn’t available, we can’t guarantee it can be cleared — additional work may be needed, like installing inspection openings or extra drain access points, to reach those sections. We’ll always quote any of that before we do it.
